How I Write Posts with Call Summaries & ChatGPT

LinkedIn Algo changes and more....

This week, LinkedIn hit us HARD!!!

I saw some posts get 80% fewer impressions, and man, it was a challenge for all of us out there.

So what does it mean?

The facts are we don’t know until LinkedIn sends an email with updates that they are working on, but we can theorize…

  1. Algo change (less organic reach)
Look, there’s no doubt that organic reach has been getting tougher and tougher in the last year. This is the nature of social media as platforms age and more creators start posting. The competition heats up!!

  2. Platform Glitch
LinkedIn has been super buggy the last few months. The notifications tab is broken and stuck at 25, the recent/relevant comments on our posts don’t work, the DMs double-send, and I could go on and on… LinkedIn has laid off a bunch of employees and are still struggling to keep up with demand.

  3. All of our content sucks.
I mean, this isn’t possible, is it? Lol, BUT I have noticed amidst all the chaos, some content is still performing…

    A = Personal stories with a picture.
B = Broad posts about remote work or work culture.
    C = Productivity cheatsheets.

So do with that information what you will!

My biggest message to all of you this week is…

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Just stop what you are doing and read my post from this week.

It’ll encourage you to keep going…
Even when you want to quit cz it’s frustrating right now!

Now, then, the fun part..

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹 & ChatGPT 𝘁𝗼 W𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁s:

1. Have a conversation with your client.
2. Have Sybill come join in your call.
3. Review the call summary below:

Conversation Starters:

SybillAI will give you a summary of the client:

→ Where your client is from
→ What they are working on right now
→ What the main focus of this call was for them

This section is great for using when we go to set the foundation for our ghostwritten post later.

It's essentially a mini "about section."

The Person's Painpoints:

Sybill gives you the main pain points from the call:

→ This is perfect for content creation
→ Save TONS of time searching for content ideas
→ Helps you know how and understand clients better

This section is great for picking a post topic to write about; we will use this for prompting later.

The Person's Interests:

Sybill shows you what your clients main interests were on the call.

The AI also picks up when the client is: smiling, speaking, distracted, and focused.

It's so innovative!

→ You'll know what topics the client was interested in
→ You have a ton of data for adding context to posts
→ You'll understand when you lost the clients focus

Let's continue.

4. Head over to ChatGPT and use the prompt below.
5. (Fill in the italicized sections with info from Sybill)

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁:

You are an expert ghostwriter who specializes in LinkedIn marketing.

Use this info to frame the tone and voice of the post (𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑡 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑣𝑜 𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝑆𝑦𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑙). But please do not mention your name or where you work. Use this info for context only.

Here's the topic I want you to write about: (𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑡 𝑎 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑆𝑦𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦)

Make the sentences short and concise, but also switch up the formatting so it's easy to read. Please no hashtags, and make sure the posts follow this format:

A bold statement that is no more than 8 words in sentence one.

A counterpoint starting with the word "but" in sentence two.

A short statement beginning with "How I" and then a number included in this story's opening sentence.

Analyze the following 5 posts to help with formatting:

(𝐼𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 5 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑠 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒)

Content is king on LinkedIn.

But context is its kingdom.

How I revolutionize B2B engagement:

1. Tailoring content to the audience's needs
2. Leveraging AI to analyze engagement data
3. Offering valuable insights, not just information
4. Engaging with feedback to refine strategy
5. Consistently delivering fresh, relevant content

Understanding the audience's challenges and goals is crucial.

- Personalization enhances the learning journey
- Conversational tools keep the experience interactive
- Data-driven insights inform content creation
- Collaboration with educators ensures relevancy

Embrace innovative approaches to connect and educate.

Change the narrative from selling to empowering.

Focus on building relationships, not just a client base.

In the end, it's about fostering a community that thrives on growth and learning.

Let's redefine the way we engage with our professional network on LinkedIn.

YouTube Video of the Week✍️

AI is coming for you ghostwriters.

But here's why you shouldn't be worried (too much)

1. If AI rules, just learn prompting.
2. AI is useless without human creativity
3. Most people have never tried ChatGPT
4. I want you to adopt slowly so I win more

That's it!

That’s it for this week!

Enjoy your weekend folks, and if you enjoyed my email, don’t say hello. It’s nice to know people don’t read to the end and stuff.

Cheers,
Luke
